Liking the looks of this one. But just to throw a spanner in the proverbial. Would it be do-able as a sit in kayak? Love the hull shape but not a fan of sit ons for, I don't know what reason. Would probly like to try a make it up as I went along deck. Or even a partial deck... thinking huge amount of weight to be saved. Integrity of hull still ok without the innards?
While I'm being awkward could three inches be taken off've the beam? Being unheavy I reckon it would 'fit' me better at 24" wide.
Just my thoughts and if they're silly for some reason or other please feel free to say so.

With a deck, no problem.

Narrowing the beam: completely different design. But I do plan on starting to dabble in some narrower kayaks now. I did draw up a 15 x 26" sit-in kayak as a prototype. After that, a 24" wide one will be next.

Just placed my order for the Wadefish. Shop not quite ready for my next build but this will give me something to study and dream about until I get started.
